Natural Lip Plumper

Date: 2 May 2008 / Category: Face care / views: 4896

Even if you weren't born with Angelina's plump pout, you can get the look of her full, luscious lips, no needles required. There are many of tips and tricks that can give the appearance of fullness. Here is a quick, natural and inexpensive way to get most kissable lips in just a few minutes.

You will Need:

cinnamon leaf oil
niacin in liquid form
lip balm
concealer
toothbrusch
washcloth
concealer loose powder
lip brush
lip liner
lipstick
lip gloss
cotton swab

Step1
First, you can use a lip plumper. Many are available at cosmetic counters. Most lip plumpers brush or wipe on, and contain a mild irritant that stimulates the lips, causing them to swell, or plump. When using lip plumpers, you may experience a slight tingling sensation upon application. However, lip plumpers can be costly over time, although not nearly as expensive as injections.

Step2
Second, brush your teeth, and brush your lips too. This will stimulate and irritate them to plump them naturally. Massage your lips gently using a toothbrush with soft bristles to exfoliate the lips, and to remove dead layers of skin on top.

Step3
Then, dry your lips and add some lip balm to keep them moist. This will prevent cracking.

Step4
Another thing you can use is concentrated oil of cinnamon leaf. This will increase the blood flow to the lips, making them fuller with a healthy glow. It is very concentrated, so be sure to only use a tiny amount. This will give you a tiny, painless sensation.

Step5
Allow about an hour for the oil to absorb. You can find this oil at your local health foods, or natural foods store. It comes in a small bottle, and costs about $5.00.

Step6
Vitamins can also be used to plump your lips naturally, specifically Niacin in liquid form. Niacin is a form of Vitamin B3, and is great as a plumping agent. It acts upon the capillaries within your lips, and causes a swelling effect to produce a fuller, redder appearance.

Step7
Niacin, however, is more expensive in liquid form than cinnamon leaf oil. It is also recommended that you do not apply niacin directly to your lips, which may cause excessive irritation. Instead, mix it with lip balm to apply it.

Step8
If you prefer not to get that stingy, tingling feeling at all, you may choose to use cosmetics to make your lips have that plump look. If so, then do the following.

Step9
First, exfoliate the lips using a dry toothbrush with soft bristles. Or you can use a warm, wet washcloth to remove dry skin cells from your lips.

Step10
Second, apply concealer that is a shade lighter than your skin tone to your lips and lip line. Powder over with loose concealer powder.

Step11
Third, line your lips SLIGHTLY outside your natural lip line. Use a NATURAL color. Remember, a lighter color makes objects seem larger. Drawing in only one third of each lip line is CRUCIAL - otherwise if you go any further, your lips will look smaller. Use a cotton swab to smudge the line slightly.

Step12
Fourth, apply a NATURAL color lipstick using a brush, allowing the lipstick and liner to blend easier. Avoid dark colors.

Step13
Finally, apply lip gloss at the center of the bottom lip. This will draw attention to the fullest part of your lip.

Now your lips are plump and kissable!!!
